Here is the hierarchy of a functional warm-up: Temperature: Increasing core temp is the bare minimum. If you aren't slightly sweating, your tissues aren't ready for the load. Joint Integrity: We don't stretch muscles; we prepare joints. Controlled rotations (CARs) signal the brain that a specific range of motion is "safe" to move heavy weight through. Neural Priming: This is the missing piece.
