Kettlebell Flow Series Part 4 is here. This one is for the coaches who want kettlebell training to look like what it’s meant to be: athletic, controlled, and built for real movement. Today’s flow: ✅ Whip Clean ✅ Rotational Press ✅ Side Lunge / Cossack Squat The real coaching focus isn’t the moves. It’s the transition. If you drop the bell, you lose the flow. If you control the release, you build skill. Key cue: Drop the elbow first. Rotate the wrist. Catch clean. That’s how you build power without sacrificing control. The final progression in our Kettlebell Flow Series. Part 5 introduces double kettlebells, increasing the demand for strength, stability, and coordination. This flow combines several movement patterns into one sequence: ▪️ Double swings ▪️ Squats ▪️ Cleans ▪️ Presses ▪️ High pull catches ▪️ Lunges When two kettlebells are moving at the same time, control becomes everything. Your trunk must stabilise. Your timing must be precise. Your transitions must stay clean. Flows like this challenge not only strength but movement intelligence. Start conservative, maintain structure, and build rhythm before increasing load. I’ve been swinging kettlebells longer than most people watching this have been alive. And I’ll say it straight: Most gyms butcher the kettlebell. The kettlebell wasn’t designed to be a squat. It wasn’t designed to be a front raise. It wasn’t designed to be “cardio with weight.” It was built to be dynamic. Violent hip extension. Elastic power. Timing. Breathing. Grip. Posture. A proper swing teaches your body how to: • Generate power from the hips • Transfer force through the core • Stay tall and athletic • Build conditioning without destroying joints • Develop real-world strength that carries over to life and sport That’s why you’ll see many variations here. Not to be fancy. But because once you understand the pattern, you earn the right to explore it. Kettlebells are simple. But simple doesn’t mean easy. And mastery always looks boring to people who don’t have it. If you’re still “doing swings” and feeling it in your low back or quads… You’re missing the point. Learn to hinge. Learn to snap. Learn to move. That’s training. Coach Tyler #KettlebellTraining #HipPower #StrengthWithPurpose #CavemanStrong #MoveLikeAnAthlete

SOUND ON Not all workouts have to be complex. This is what we did for the first half of today’s class - drilling these five linear movements, starting light and building heavy. First with two hands, then with one hand. LISTEN to the breathing. Then grab your kettlebell and give it a go. The hand clean is a different variation of the kettlebell clean where the bell travels directly into the rack position with a tighter path and more control through the hand. Instead of relying purely on a big swing, you guide the kettlebell smoothly around the hand into the rack. Why this matters 👇 • Better control of the kettlebell – The hand guides the bell so it lands softer in the rack. • Improves clean technique – Helps you understand how the kettlebell should travel around the hand rather than crashing onto the forearm. • Stronger rack position – Reinforces good positioning for presses, squats, and jerks. • More efficient movement – Less wasted energy and a smoother transition into your next lift. Small tweaks in technique can make a big difference in efficiency and control when training with kettlebells. If your cleans are crashing, this variation is definitely worth practicing. 🔔 Have you tried the hand clean before? #kettlebelltraining #gym #kettlebells #fit #kettlebellworkout kbtraining functionalfitness strengthandconditioning

🔔 Kettlebell Do’s & Don’ts — Part 2 🔔 The details matter. Once your hinge is dialed in, the next layer is control and stability. Because power without control? That’s where injuries sneak in. In this round we’re focusing on: • Choosing the right kettlebell weight (ego lifting doesn’t count as strength) • Keeping your wrist straight and stacked — not bent or collapsed • Grabbing the floor with your feet to prevent knees and ankles from caving in Your feet create the foundation. Your wrists transfer the load. The right weight lets you own the movement — not survive it. Strong swings aren’t just explosive… they’re stable. Train smart. Build resilience. Move better. Wish I knew about these sooner! 🙏 Because before kettlebells, I didn’t do any of these exercises. It wasn’t because I couldn’t do them with other equipment, but more the fact that kettlebells don’t lend themselves well to the traditional bro splits I used to follow. So I started experimenting and to this day it hasn’t stopped. Now I’m wondering what other movements I haven’t discovered yet. #kettlebell #strength #functionaltraining

How to hold the kettlebells. This is something that people skip when using them. Simply because they don't see it as important. But annoying when it gets uncomfortable. Make sure you hold the kettlebells in a diagonal line across the base of the palm. This should take away real discomfort and help you focus on your workout. P.s it will take some time to get use to and adjust. #kettlebell #kettlebells
