since the side tilt videos were so well received, here’s one for front leg holds! the key 🔑 to any kind of leg hold is (drumroll…..) strong active splits! and the following drills does exactly what you need to do! here’s how I would break down ACTIVE FRONT SPLITS! 1️⃣ Front leg By pushing you front leg into the yoga blocks, you are working on strength in the front leg as well as to training the leg to fully straighten. Aim for you ankle to be higher than the height of your knee 🥳 2️⃣ Back Leg By peeling your back knee of the ground, you are doing something like a “scooter” in Pilates and it helps in engage your back glute, lengthen your hip flexor as well as help to keep your splits square ▪️! And combining 1️⃣ and 2️⃣, you strengthen your legs in general, stability in your core and inner thighs!!! Active splits are the way to go!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 try this out! and lmk how it goes!!
