1. One hour of email. Every morning. I block one hour to go through my inbox. Reply. Archive. Done. After that, I don’t open it again unless something is genuinely urgent. Because email is reactive work. If you live in your inbox all day, you’re just wasting time that could be used on important tasks. 2. Grind mode is protected. I block a chunk of time for deep work. No meetings. No calls. No context switching. This is where the heavy lifting happens. Strategy. Thinking. The tasks I’d otherwise procrastinate. I schedule it during my highest energy window, which for me is mornings. I don’t do well knowing I have 40 minutes before a meeting. I need mental runway. So I don’t book over it. 3. Meetings + lighter tasks go in the afternoon. Afternoons are my energy dip. So I use that time for meetings, admin, creative exploration, easier to dos. Instead of fighting my biology, I work with it. Now, does this always work perfectly? Absolutely not. Some days my inbox wins. Some days meetings spill everywhere. Some days I ignore my own rules. But having this structure has helped me actually finish what matters.

It’s a simple way to structure your day so you get real things done without burning out: ✨ 3 hours → one big goal Focus on your main priority for the day. Could be studying a tough topic, working on a project, or creating content… ✨ 3 smaller tasks → daily wins These are important, but quicker things to tick off — like answering emails/DMs, revising notes, flashcards, or a workout.. ✨ 3 maintenance tasks → life admin Things that keep your life running smoothly: cleaning, groceries, meal prep, laundry.. Stop juggling 20 things at once. Focus on a few meaningful actions. Progress + balance > doing everything. If you don’t define what a productive day looks like for you, you will never feel like you are doing enough ❤️

Start: If you want to stop being lazy, you need to at least read this whole thing… The 2 Minute Rule: The 2 minute rule is simple. Whenever you feel too lazy to do something, tell yourself you’re just going to do it for 2 minutes and then you can stop. It sounds stupid, but here’s WHY it works so well: - the hardest part about any task is starting it especially since there’s so many more entertaining things to be doing - the 2 minute rule lowers this resistance to starting allowing you to overcome the procrastination you face, easier - It also allows you to build the habit of “showing up” when you say you will, hence training your discipline at the same time! So, if you’re too lazy to study, convince yourself to just sit down and read 2 pages of your notes (2 minutes worth of work). After the 2 minutes are up, chances are you’ll just continue with the task since you have already built momentum! Apply this rule and you’ll never struggle with procrastination again… #lazy #selfimprovement #productivity #productivitytips #studytips #studymotivation

Read More ⬇️ & Comment “START” for links to linkable items in video. I set a 1 hour timer for this and it really is AMAZING how much you can tidy when you are racing the clock for an hour. Sometimes an hour can feel overwhelming tho so you can always start small with a 15, 10, or even 5 minute tidy just to get started. Sometimes I’ll even just say, I’m just gonna wash 3 dishes. Then after that is done, 4 dishes, and so on till all the dishes are gone. But the key is WHATEVER it takes to JUST START. That’s what ya gotta do 💕 #Cleaningmotivation #cleanwithme #momlife #motherhood #Cleaning

How to Be Productive When You’re Not Feeling Well ⬇️ Feeling unwell but still have things to do?

I’m currently working from home with a cold 🤧 so I know how tough it is to stay on top of work and your tasks when you’re not feeling well.

I wanted to share some actionable tips to help you and me stay productive, while giving your body the rest that it needs: 1️⃣ Prioritise and only do the essential tasks: focus on what’s important, and get that done first. Ask yourself: What absolutely needs to get done today? Let the non-urgent tasks wait. 2️⃣ Use timed work intervals: try working in short bursts, like 30 minutes of focus work, followed by 10-15 minutes of rest. 3️⃣ Batch your work: or you can try to get all of the important work done in a few hours, so that you can spend the rest of the time allowing yourself to rest. 4️⃣ Delegate or postpone: what is not that urgent or important. It’s ok to slow down when you’re not feeling well. I’m trying to wrap up all of my work in a couple of hours, so that I can take the afternoon off and rest. A nap is going to be my reward 🫶🏻 💬 What’s your best tip for staying productive when you’re not feeling your best? Save this reel for your next sick day 💫 Want to learn more about time management, setting goals, improving your habits and routines to live a more productive life?
