4 things every golfer should be doing (but most aren’t) in the gym! 1. Use the floor: Squat (quad dominant) and deadlift (posterior chain) to build lower limb strength, power, and ground-force reaction. 2. Rotate and resist rotation: Pallof press (anti-rotation) and split-stance cable rotations (dynamic rotation). 3. Push: Machine chest press (horizontal) and machine shoulder press (vertical). I also like a split-stance single arm landmine press as an efficient, golf-specific option. 4. Pull: Seated lat pulldown (vertical) and seated row (horizontal). A split-stance single arm cable row is another efficient, golf-specific option. Here’s a simple full body weight training session involving your 4 key movement patterns to build strong foundations that actually support your golf performance. Keep it simple, train smart. 3 sets of 8–12 reps. Allow adequate recovery between sets. Focus on quality movement Build strength, stability, power, and coordination -> gym gains that translate to golf gains. #golffitness #golfperformance #golftraining #golftips

Power + Stability = Distance. 💥⛳️ Two underrated moves that build a stronger golf swing: The single-leg cable lift teaches your body to transfer force from the ground up, improving balance, core control, and rotational power. The Glute-Ham Raise overhead press challenges your posterior chain and core stability while pressing, helping you stay strong and controlled through your swing. Train the body to stabilize first, then produce power. Better stability. Better sequencing. More clubhead speed. 🚀 #GolfFitness #GolfStrength #GolfPerformance #TrainForGolf #RotationalPower

Most golfers lift weights… Bench press Curls Random leg workouts Then wonder why they still feel stiff and lose distance. The problem? Traditional workouts train muscles. Golf performance training trains the movement patterns of the golf swing: • Mobility • Stability • Rotational power • Balance • Explosive force Train the body the right way and everything improves. Distance. Consistency. Longevity. That’s exactly why I built the Golf Performance System. If you’d like a full golf performance plan to follow to saw yourself the time and effort message me “performance” and I’ll send you the details! #golfworkout #golffitness #golfmobility #golfexercise

First, pretty decent golfers tan for mid March ⛳️. Now to the exercise, I call these extended RDL’s. Standing on the plates allows extra range of motion without the plates bouncing off the ground. The beauty of these is that they actually load the back less, and the hamstrings more, than standard RDL’s with a much shorter range of motion. The load I can use in these is massively reduced due to the weaker position my hamstrings are in. In standard RDL’s, I’d probably be using about 60-80lbs more. It would be less hamstring stimulation, and more back stimulation. These are excellent for improving strength of the hamstrings, glutes, and back. These are very important muscles for golfers. Remember, in the gym, we should focus on stimulating adaptations in our muscles and nervous system. It’s not about mimicking the swing. You want to fundamentally change your force production capabilities, and fight off Father Time. This 305 x 4. Started doing these about 4 or 5 months ago and have have been slowly adding weight. I do them every Wednesday as part of my “B workout” on the Fit For Golf App. If you want to gain distance and fight age, download the Fit For Golf App and start your trial.

Most golfers don’t need more strength. They need golf-specific strength. ⛳️ There’s a difference. You don’t need heavy bench press. You don’t need random gym workouts. You need strength for: • Rotation • Separation • Stability • Power transfer • Clubhead speed That’s how you hit it farther. Golf fitness isn’t about lifting heavier. It’s about moving better.
