There’s obviously more things that cause bloating (ingredients, quality of food, stress, SIBO, eating too fast, etc) BUT….if you’re already doing “everything right” and still get bloated , perhaps look into filling your plate a bite more (and I’m not talking about more veggies!) I see this all the time in the @lilsipper community where people come to me asking for advice….and often it turns out they are just under eating. - this may not be the case for everyone, but just a little PSA to pay attention to. Sometime we often think if we don’t eat a lot we won’t get bloated as much….but that could actually be causing the bloat! (Don’t believe me, just look it up!) It’s time we acknowledge that this is not normal. There’s nothing normal or comfortable about feeling bloated right after a meal, the stomach feeling twice it’s normal size can really be uncomfortable. This happens when there’s gut dysbiosis which impacts the gut microbiome diversity. It encourages the growth of more bad bacteria which can make you gassy, leading to bloating and cramping.
