VAYou don’t have a “flexibility problem”…
No one tells you this.
I used to struggle with low kicks too.
Everything changed when I fixed these 3 things
and that’s when my kicks finally started getting higher:
1️⃣ Warming up matters more than stretching
Cold muscles = tight body = low kicks
Now I spend 5–10 minutes opening my hips before I even start kicking.
2️⃣ Control > flexibility
Flexibility is useless if you can’t control it.
Slow kicks, holds, and balance drills made my kicks more stable AND higher.
3️⃣ Forcing height slows your progress
Trying to kick at max height every day = injury + no progress
I focused on clean technique first… and the height came naturally.
