36Il n'y a pas d'intervention banale.
Exemple avec cet accident à une intersection il y a quelques jours, sans blessés graves, sans doutes grâce aux ceintures de sécurité et aux airbags.
Chaque intervention des forces de sécurité ou de secours comporte des risques notamment lors du trajet jusqu'au lieu d'intervention.
Pour les pompiers, le délai moyen d’intervention entre la prise d’appel et l’arrivée des tous premiers secouristes est d'environ 13 minutes. Toutefois, cette moyenne cache de grandes disparités selon les départements.
Alors que certains responsables politiques réclament un "droit au silence" concernant les sirènes de police, les moyens de signalisations (sirènes/deux-tons et gyrophares) sont pourtant nécessaires.
Lorsqu’ils sont en mission et que leur gyrophare est allumé, ces véhicules reconnus comme prioritaires (police, gendarmerie, pompiers, SAMU, SMUR, douanes...), sont autorisés à ne pas respecter la signalisation en vigueur sur leur voie.
En cas de refus de priorité envers un véhicule prioritaire (ce qui n'est pas le cas dans cette vidéo), l'usager est passible d’une amende de 135 € et d’une perte de 4 points sur son permis de conduire.
