Instead, tell clients to “brace like they’re about to be tickled but trying not to laugh.” It instantly taps into the internal obliques and transverse abdominis — and it’s memorable. 🤭 ⚓️BONUS TIP⚓️ You can cue a deeper core connection in wheelbarrow by telling clients to “press their palms down like they’re trying to leave fingerprints.” That downward force wakes up the lats and the TVA (my fav muscle group to talk about!) without overwhelming the wrists. #lagree #lagreefitness #lagreemastertrainer #lagreeinstructor #lagreetips #lagreewithsami

The rest you’ll pick up on quickly! 👇 🤸‍♀️ Megaformer: The machine you’ll be on the whole time. It slides, it uses spring resistance, & it works muscles you didn’t even know you had. 😂 🤸‍♀️ Springs: These control the resistance. The instructor will cue you to add or remove springs throughout class. 🤸‍♀️ Carriage/Platform: The carriage is the moving center part of the Megaformer. The front & back platforms are stable. 🤸‍♀️ Grip socks: Socks with little grips on the bottom that are required for class so you don’t slip! 🤸‍♀️ Lagree shake: When your muscles start trembling, you know you’re doing it right.
