Today’s session was built around controlled power. We started on a pendulum style plate loaded pulldown that allows you to move serious weight while keeping the movement honest. The arc forces control through the entire pull so the lats do the work instead of momentum doing the cheating. From there we moved into heavy Smith machine rows. Stable base. Chest up. Drive the elbows back and hold the contraction. Simple movement, brutal when done right. Then we finished with plate loaded rows. High tension, deep burn, and the kind of fatigue that reminds you the back is one of the largest and most powerful muscle groups in the body. Training together creates a different standard. When one person pushes, the other answers. Rep for rep. Set for set. Nothing goes harder than couples training when the intensity is real.
