Trace minerals, on the other hand, are typically needed in smaller amounts. When something changes or becomes imbalanced with the macrominerals, all the rest of the minerals (and even heavy metals!) will be affected. I use hair tissue mineral analysis, a powerful screening tool, in my practice with clients. I find it to be extremely helpful and insightful. Since 95% of your bodies’ mineral stores are located in the tissues and cells, testing a hair sample can give you a sneak peek of what is occurring at the cellular and tissue level with your minerals.
