Morning yoga is the BEST ☕️🧘🏼‍♀️☀️ and if you’re a beginner who wants to add yoga to your morning routine, save this post 🙋🏼‍♀️ Here are a few tips to get the most out of these poses: ☀️SIDE STRETCH: Keep your hips planted on the mat to get a really lovely side stretch! ☀️THREAD THE NEEDLE: this is a perfect gentle twist to warm up your body in the morning. If you want a deeper twist, press into your top hand to open your heart ☀️LUNGE TWIST: This one is a little deeper. Imagine you’re squeezing your legs together to fire up the muscles in your legs. If this twist is too deep, just rotate your body upward for a gentle variation. ☀️HALFMOON: if balancing first thing in the morning feels hard, try standing next to a wall for extra support! You can also use a block in your lower hand to help you balance 👉🏼👉🏼Practice each pose on both sides for 5-10 deep breaths. If you’d like a longer practice you can hold each pose a little longer or repeat the sequence a few times ☀️ Starting your day with movement and positive intention can have a huge impact on your day!
