I was 21 so I will give myself a pass for this one. 2️⃣ The second job I didn’t negotiate hurts a lot more. I was a star candidate (I interviewed on a Friday and got the offer Monday morning). I didn’t feel I could negotiate because I was moving from a different state and “the cost of living is lower”. That’s irrelevant! As the star candidate I had the leverage to ask for more and didn’t use it.
