No problem! 🥪💪 This High-Protein Oats Sandwich is crispy outside, soft inside & totally guilt-free ✨ Perfect for breakfast, tiffin or post-workout hunger 😋 Save & try this healthy recipe ❤️ 🧾 Ingredients Oats Batter • Oats flour – 2 cups (dry-roasted & ground) • Besan – ½ cup • Curd – ½ cup • Carrot – 1 (grated) • Onion – ½ cup (finely chopped) • Capsicum – ¼ cup (finely chopped) • Coriander leaves – ¼ cup (chopped) • Red chilli flakes – ½ tsp • Black pepper – ¼ tsp • Oregano – ½ tsp • Salt – to taste • Water – 1 to 1¼ cups (as needed) Matar Paneer Filling • Boiled peas – 1 cup • Paneer – 1 cup (crumbled) • Onion – 1 small (finely chopped) • Green chillies – 2–3 (chopped) • Coriander leaves – ¼ cup • Sandwich / chaat masala – 1 tsp • Cumin powder – ½ tsp • Salt – to taste • Oil or ghee – for greasing Steps 1️⃣ Mix all batter ingredients, add water gradually to make a thick pourable batter. Rest 15 min. 2️⃣ Mash boiled peas lightly and mix with paneer, onion, chillies, masala & salt. 3️⃣ Heat sandwich maker and grease lightly. 4️⃣ Spread batter → add filling → cover with more batter. 5️⃣ Close and cook till golden & crispy. 6️⃣ Serve hot with green chutney or ketchup. 💡 Tip • For extra crisp: add 1–2 tbsp rice flour or besan. Oats are packed with numerous health benefits, including helping with weight loss, lowering blood sugar levels, and reducing the risk of heart disease. As proud Gujaratis, we can craft our beloved Dhokla using oats, and the result is simply delectable! 🌱💕 ✨ Recipe - 1. In a mixer jar, blend together 1 cup of oats and 1/2 cup of Suji (Semolina) to create a fine powder. 2. To this, add 1/4 cup of sour curd and water as needed to form a thick batter. Let the batter rest for half an hour. 3. After resting, add salt to taste, 1/2 tsp Haldi powder, one small thinly shredded carrot, some finely chopped dhaniya (coriander), 2 pounded green chillies and a small piece of ginger. Mix well! 4. If your batter is too thick, adjust the consistency by adding a little water. 5. Prepare your steamer, and just before steaming, add in 1 small packet of fruit salt (eno) into batter. Make sure to pour the batter into the steamer immediately for a fluffy finish! 6. Mix well and pour the batter into a well-greased plate. A sprinkle of red chilli powder on top adds a perfect touch. 7. Steam the dhokla for 15-20 minutes on high flame, covering the steamer well. 8. Once done, remove from the steamer and let it cool slightly. 9. For the tadka, heat 2 tbsp oil and add 1 tsp mustard seeds, 1/2 tsp hing (asafoetida), and a few curry leaves. 10. Pour the tadka over the steamed dhokla, cut it into pieces, and enjoy with a cup of tea or a refreshing green coriander mint gathiya chutney! ☕️🍽️ 🟩 **How to prepare the chutney:** In a mixer jar, combine Bhavnagari Gathiya (a special fried snack), 2-3 green chillies, a big bunch of cleaned coriander, juice from 1/2 a lemon, and a few ice cubes. Churn to a smooth consistency, add salt to taste, and it’s ready to serve! .
