Und das liegt, wie eigentlich bei allen anderen Schmerzen auch, an einem simplen Grund: (😍 Folge mir für mehr Übungen bei Schmerzen) Gelenke werden langfristig nicht schmerzfrei indem wir sie ständig nur versuchen zu entlasten und die Muskeln zu „befreien“. Klar isr diese Form von Symptombehandlung anfangs angenehm, deswegen kann man das auch machen. Aber wirklich bulletproof wird dein Knie indem wir die Belastbarkeit der Gelenke erhöhen. Nur geht das eben nicht von heute auf morgen und es braucht spezifische Übungen. A little Sunday evening reminder to anyone out there struggling with injury - I see you, and I want to encourage you to keep going! ♥️ I know it might be easy to glance at my page now and think that it must have been a straightforward recovery as I’m back training at a good level. But it was a slow and steady crawl back to here 🐌 I started with assisted body weight exercises, and eventually got up to body weight only. Then I worked with only the bar at the gym for a long time, and it’s only in recent weeks that I’m the stage where my knee feels ready to add any more load. Don’t compare your journey to anyone else’s - we are all working on our own timeline. Social media can for sure be a trigger when going through an injury, so make sure you curate your feed to be a positive place that makes you feel good - the mute button became a good friend to me because I found myself getting upset and anxious seeing everybody surpassing me 😅 All the setbacks and struggles will just make the good times even sweeter when they come around ☺️🔄
