Making this reel made me tear up. What a journey we have been on and how far we have come! I couldn’t have done it without God. He gave me strength to figure out how to heal my daughter. So many days I was so defeated. I would leave the doctor’s office with another antibiotic, steroid, or being told it was her allergies or asthma. Nothing helped. I would sometimes cry at night just so worried about her. I was mentally, emotionally, and physically drained. One day all by Gods strength, I said enough is enough. I know there has to be a way to help her and heal her. I started reading and reading and digging deeper. Silent reflux causes chronic cough without typical symptoms. Whooping cough — Adults get it too. Violent coughing fits lasting weeks or months. You cough so hard you vomit or can’t breathe. Chronic bronchitis — Airway inflammation from smoking, pollution, or infections. Constant mucus production. How to: 1️⃣ Cover your mouth & nose with hands loosely 2️⃣ Swallow once 3️⃣ Inhale normally & exhale slowly then 4️⃣ Hold your breath for 5–10 seconds 5️⃣ Take a few small gentle breaths (remove hands from face) 6️⃣ Return to normal breathing Why does this work? ! : Covering Your Mouth & Nose: Increases CO₂, which helps relax the airways and reduces coughing.
