The leg movements seen in the video do not mean the person is coming back to life. After death, the brain stops working, but the muscles can still have a small amount of leftover electrical energy. This can make the muscles twitch or move on their own for a short time. This is called a postmortem reflex. It can look shocking, but it is a normal reaction of the body after death. After death, muscles don’t instantly freeze forever. As oxygen disappears, muscles first relax, then stiffen (a process called rigor mortis), and later loosen again as tissues break down. Gases from decomposition can build up, shifting limbs, arching the back, or even forcing air through the throat-creating groans or sighs that once terrified grave watchers. Skin dries and shrinks, making nails and hair look like they’re growing. Follow @insidegravity_ for Interesting Videos #trending#afterlife #foryou #science#viral

⏳ What Happens 1 Minute to 1 Month After Demise? Demise is a natural part of life, yet very few people understand what actually happens to the human body afterward. Medical science and forensic research show a clear, predictable sequence of biological changes that occur over time. Within 1 minute after Demise, the heart stops beating and breathing ceases. Oxygen supply to the brain ends, and brain activity rapidly declines. Cells begin shutting down due to lack of oxygen, although some minimal activity may briefly remain. After 1 hour, the body starts to cool — a process called algor mortis. Blood settles due to gravity, causing the skin to appear pale or bluish. Muscles begin to stiffen as chemical changes start inside muscle fibers. Around 12 hours after Demise, rigor mortis becomes more noticeable, making the body stiff. Natural bacteria inside the body begin breaking down tissues, and the abdomen may show a greenish discoloration, an early sign of decomposition. By 1 month, the body reaches advanced decomposition. Tissues continue to break down, the skin may peel or soften depending on the environment, and odor can be present. The speed of these changes depends on factors like temperature, burial conditions, insects, and preservation methods. ⚠️ Important fact: Decomposition is not the same for every body. Environment, climate, and medical conditions all affect how fast or slow these changes occur.

Thank you @otterfunerals on tiktok for sharing! For those of you wondering how bodies are transported into a cremator! Sometimes folks opt to be cremated in cardboard boxes or shrouds instead of caskets, other times they opt for a coffin or casket. . . . . #Funeral #deathcare #dying #education #cremation #casket

In the 19th century, grieving families sometimes created lifelike keepsakes of deceased loved ones through Post-mortem photography. For many, especially after the loss of a child, these images were a way to remember and cope with grief in an era of high mortality rates. #VictorianEra #PostMortem #HistoryOfDeath #VictorianHistory #StrangeHistory #DarkHistory #HistoryFacts #EducationalShorts

I see the body as a computer and when I press specific buttons I get a response. The response overtime has become predictable. Pressing this area of the chest in a torque pattern unwinds tension in the chest which extracts the emotion stored beneath. The emotion here is usually grief. The right side is the masculine side, the left side is the feminine side. I’ve also seen people store emotions they hold for their parents here. Moments that they couldn’t process.
