First REFEED DAY of my life - Magic I never thought just one day of eating double the carbs could bring such an insane pump to the body. This was my first refeed day, leading up to my first-ever competition. I started my fat loss journey 4 months ago at 71 kg, and by consistently dropping around 1.5 kg every month, today I’m down to 64.5 kg. My body has completely flattened out, and veins are now visible even on my abs, chest, and legs. For the past several weeks, I was on just 2000 calories. But last week, we dropped it even further — down to 1800 calories. And here’s the exciting part: my coach has now introduced a weekly refeed day — every Thursday. Just for one day, instead of 150g carbs, I get to eat 350g carbs, with total calories going up to 2600. Protein and fats remain roughly the same. After just two big meals on my first refeed, I could literally feel the pump building — and by the time I hit my pull workout in the evening, my arms were looking insane. The biggest benefit of a refeed day is that it helps break through fat loss plateaus — I’ll explain that in more detail in the next video. But for now, just know that refeeding refills glycogen, boosts mood, enhances strength, improves workout pumps, and helps manage cravings big time. This is definitely a more happy #wombatwednesday than last week this time It has been 11 days and Zip is improving daily. Im not too worried about refeeding syndrome anymore and his appetite is good. He still sleeps about 22 hours a day as his broken body is healing . I have an oil heater running 24/7 to keep him nice and warm and the only place he will sleep in is his new bed. Sound on to hear his gentle snoring. I’m sleeping easier.. still monitoring through the night but not with so much worry. I know I’ve said no refeeds for aggressive cuts, but that was meant for a 4-6 week sprint. Since I’m going longer, my body appreciates it. What do y’all think?
