Lateral delt — the one shoulder muscle that actually makes you wider. And your current lateral raises probably aren’t hitting it. Women consistently rank shoulders as the most attractive muscle on a man. Not chest. Not arms. Shoulders. But here’s the problem — bench press, overhead press, push-ups — they all build the front. Your shoulder gets bigger from one angle and stays flat from every other. The lateral delt is the muscle that pushes your frame outward. One job. That’s all it does. And almost no default exercise loads it correctly because the first thirty degrees of a normal lateral raise is a dead zone — gravity isn’t even working against the muscle yet. One adjustment kills that dead zone completely. Same dumbbell. Different angle. Lateral delt loaded from the first inch. You’ll feel the difference on rep one.
