Okay first… I didn’t suddenly become a topper overnight 😌 I was just tired of staring at the same book for 3 hours and still feeling guilty. So I changed the way I study. Instead of reading everything line by line like a “perfect student” 🥲 I started reading like a “smart student” 🧠✨ I gave each chapter 10 minutes ⏱️ Timer on. Phone away. Airplane mode. No excuses. 🚫📱 In those 10 minutes I only: Read headings 📝 Understood the main idea 💡 Checked diagrams & flowcharts 📊 Noticed important terms ⭐ Looked at PYQs 👀 That’s it. No over-highlighting 🎨 No re-reading the same line 5 times 😭 No trying to be perfect. After 10 minutes, I closed the book and asked myself: “Okay… what was this chapter actually about?” 🤔 If I could explain it in simple words — done ✅ If not — 2-minute quick revision 🔁 And then I moved on. Here’s the honest truth 💭 You can’t memorize 5 chapters in one hour. But you can: ✔ Remove the fear ✔ Understand the basics ✔ Build a strong base for revision And sometimes… that’s the real win 🥹✨ Because once fear is gone, studying feels lighter. And lighter study = consistent study 💛📚 #StudyTips #motivation #consistentcy #explore #fyp

Study LESS, learn MORE. It’s not about cramming for hours—it’s about how you study. Here’s how to maximize your learning with less time: 🧠 Active Recall – Stop rereading. Quiz yourself instead. The more you struggle to remember, the stronger the memory gets. ✍️ Scribble Method – Use your non-dominant hand to doodle messy scribbles while studying. It keeps your brain engaged and improves retention. 📢 Feynman Technique – If you can’t teach it simply, you don’t understand it. Break it down as if you’re explaining it to a child. 💻 Second Brain – Organize your notes digitally so you can quickly find, review, and connect key concepts. It’s not about how long you study—it’s about how efficiently you learn.

Save these for later 💫 Struggling to stay awake while studying? These 5 science-backed strategies will help you study effectively even when you’re exhausted: Tip 1: Caffeine-Nap Trick A cup of coffee or tea followed by a 15-minute power nap will help you wake up feeling more alert. Tip 2: Five-Minute Rule Convince yourself to study for just five minutes. Once you start, you’ll likely find it easier to keep going. Tip 3: Active Recall > Rereading Passive studying won’t work when you’re tired. Instead of reading your notes again, use flashcards, try testing yourself, or explain concepts out loud. Tip 4: Switch Up Your Environment A small change—like moving to a different room or sitting by a window—can help reset your focus and improve concentration. Tip 5: Low-Effort Learning If reading feels impossible, let the information come to you. Listen to an audio summary or watch an educational video. Even a little studying is better than none, so don’t be too hard on yourself. Prioritize rest and take care of yourself! You’re probably not lazy but overwhelmed so on those days, try this: 1. Lower the bar to start Tell yourself: “I’ll study for 5 minutes.” Once you start, momentum usually kicks in. Starting is the hardest part. 2. Use the 25-minute rule Study 25 minutes, break 5 minutes (Pomodoro style). It feels short → less resistance → more consistency. 3. Study the exam, not the subject Focus only on: • Past exams • Practice questions • Teacher’s hints Skip anything unlikely to be tested. 4. Active recall > rereading Instead of rereading notes: Close them and ask yourself questions Write what you remember It feels harder but saves tons of time. 5. Teach an imaginary person Explain the topic out loud like you’re teaching a child. If you get stuck, that’s what you need to review. 6. Use shortcuts • YouTube summaries instead of textbooks • Flashcards instead of long notes • Bullet points instead of paragraphs Efficiency > perfection. 7. Study at your laziest time If you’re tired anyway, might as well study. Don’t wait to “feel motivated.” 8. Remove friction Before studying: • Put phone in another room • Open the exact file/page you need • Sit at the same spot every time Make studying the default option. 9. Consistency beats intensity 15-30 minutes daily > 4 hours once a week. 10. Accept “good enough” Perfect notes = wasted energy. Passing with less effort is still a win. #study #motivation #lazystudent #studytips

Some study methods for you guys💓 sorry I haven’t been posting much, doing my usual social media detox before exam starts! If you struggle with focusing or finding motivation just before exams, I recommend doing a full day or week of social media detox, just don’t use your phone, focus on other stuff like hobbies if you don’t want to study, although I recommend studying every day even if its for a few minutes. Anyways! I will be back posting more frequently starting next week. How is your exam preparation going?

💯 C STUDENTS quit the moment studying gets hard while A+ STUDENTS lean into the struggle! Average students give up when they can’t remember something—top performers know that’s exactly when active recall builds the strongest memory. The discomfort of forcing your brain to retrieve difficult material is what separates exceptional from mediocre. Elite students embrace the mental challenge and use self-testing to turn weaknesses into strengths. Stop running from difficulty—use active recall to transform struggle into academic domination.

The secret to STUDY smarter👇🏽🧠👩🏽‍🎓 Use my easy 5-step S.T.U.D.Y method to study smart so you can spend less time studying and score higher even if you’re tired ⬇️💯 S - Spaced Repetition Remember everything you read and study WITHOUT spending more time working with spaced repetition! The key is to use smaller study sessions of 15 minutes per day over time instead of many hours at one time 🧠 T - Teach What You Learn Build stronger memories in your study sessions by applying the scientifically proven Feynman Technique! By working smarter instead of harder you can spend less time working and get more done even if you’re tired👩🏽‍🎓 U - Use Interleaving Instead of focusing on one topic at a time, mix up study sessions to make it more interesting and engaging with different subjects and tasks. This has been proven to promote deeper learning and enhanced retention (even when you’re tired)❤️ D - Dual Encoding Combine written and visual learning stimulus when you’re tired to engage multiple sensory pathways which improves learning, focus and memory! Creating mind maps or watching a video on the topic are key examples you can use to improve your study sessions after school 💯 Y - Yoking Use this secret technique to boost your grades and study SMART even when you’re tired! To use this create associations between what you’re learning and real life situations you deal with everyday to enhance meaning and make study more fun! 🏆 I taught Aiden (year 12) how to STUDY and he scored 100% in his last 3 math exams! Everyone’s studying harder. But the smart ones? They’re using these unfair methods that actually make you remember everything faster. Try them once, and your grades won’t recover (in the best way). 1. Blurting Method: After studying a topic, close everything and write everything you remember on a blank page. Then check what you missed. It’s raw, uncomfortable, but insanely powerful for memory. 2. Reverse Learning: Instead of reading first, start by solving a question from that topic. When you can’t answer, then study. Your brain locks in the answer 5x faster because it searched for it first. 3. Feynman Technique (teach it dumb): Explain the topic as if you’re teaching your 10-year-old self. When you stutter or simplify wrong, that’s your weak spot. Fix that, and you’ll never forget it again. 4. Active Recall over Rereading: Stop reading the same page 10 times. Quiz yourself without looking. The struggle is what builds the memory. Comfort = forgetting, challenge = remembering. 5. One-Page Master Sheet: Condense every chapter into one messy, chaotic A4 keywords, arrows, mnemonics, tiny notes. It’s not pretty, but it’s your brain on paper. Keep adding to it till exams. If you want part 2, I’ll drop 10 more illegal hacks, comment “part 2”. Save this before it gets lost on your feed this post might just change how you study forever.
