Another way is to use a pair of lifting shoes but that requires some investment to be made.

Adjust the shoulder pads so that they rest on your shoulders comfortably and your not standing on your tip toes or already in a fullsquat to get under them- you should have just a slight bend in the knee so as you stand upright the safety bar dops forward.

Banded hack squat can be really good technique to use if you have any type of knee issues. Obviously do your warm-ups before you do these, but he’s a great to add in. A couple of benefits include: 1. Takes a lot of the tension off of your knees and hips at the bottom of the range of motion. 2. Increases the tension at the weight at the top of the movement. 3. Allows you to work on your end range of motion.( where everybody fails. ) 4. Helps build strength in your end range of motion.
