HOW TO: - Place the mini band around one ankle and one arch (where your shoe laces are) - Roll over onto your stomach, straighten your legs and tuck your toes - Draw the heel of the ankle with the mini band on it to your glute, and fully extend back out. - Rinse & Repeat other side #hamstringworkout #hamstringrehab #minibandworkout

The Nordic hamstring curls have a slew of studies hat have shown they’re great for hamstring hypertrophy, increased eccentric strength, and they even decrease the potential of hamstring injuries! When performing... there are a couple of important technique items to try and accomplish: 1. Keep ankles dorsiflexed - dorsiflexion will help the calf to contribute to knee flexion along with the hamstring 2. Keep hips as neutral as possible 3. Keep core braced tight 4. Control the eccentric portion of the lift... the lowering phase - When you’re sprinting, your knee angle opens up during the swing phase and this lengthens the hamstrings while they’re heavily activated. The lowering phase of the Nordic ham curl will prepare the hamstrings for sprinting Strengthening a muscle in the stretched state helps build resilience in the muscle. Due to the principle of specificity, eccentric training increases eccentric strength more than any other type of training. Studies have found that performing Nordic Hamstring Curls into a training program led to improved 10-meter sprint times! Build eccentric strength! ➡️ RDL - Hip dominant, develop strength at long muscle lengths💪🏻 ➡️ Foam roller slides - Build cocontractions with other muscles. Squeeze your glutes and quads at the top. 🔶EXTENDED SUSPENDED LUNGE 🔸EXTENDED STEP BACK LUNGE: strengthen your awareness of your knee alignment, tracking outside middle toe, extended back leg to challenge your hip mobility. 🔶SUSPENDED LATERAL SQUAT 🔸COSSACK SQUAT: again be aware of knee alignment and work your range to sit hip crease below the knee. ▪️Start by holding the suspension trainer handles.
