Now you can share the sweat, strength and triumph with your teammates. The DriTri Team format is designed to build camaraderie, boost motivation and keep you pushing harder together. How It Works: Gather a team of 3️⃣ and split the challenge however you like: Row: Conquer 2,000 meters — just one stroke each is all it takes to get started. You decide how to tackle the rest as a team. Floor: Crush 450 total reps. Each teammate completes one round of strength exercises, totaling 150 reps per person. Tread: Cover 3.1 miles (5KM) with a decline in incline every mile. Whether you run, jog, or power walk, the choice is yours. Participant 1: 1 mile @ 3% or 0.5 mile @ 9% Participant 2: 1 mile @ 2% or 0.5 mile @ 6% Participant 3: 1.1 miles @ 1% or 0.55 mile @ 3% Are You Ready to Tri? No excuses. Just sweat, grit and the ultimate bragging rights. Grab your crew, or just sign up and let your coaches draft your crew for you! Dri-Tri Tips and Techniques While most say add a minute on to your best 2k row time, I highly suggest you go at a pace where you can go directly off the rower to the floor and get at least 10 bench hop overs in. Stay heavy in the arms to preserve the legs in the hop overs. Straddle the bench for the most efficient path and range of motion. Go hard until the step ups. Heart rate will slow down a bit and it’s a great time during steps ups to get water in if you need. NEVER take push ups out to failure, it will take you longer to get through! Always rest with 2-3 left in the tank and rest on your knees, OFF your hands/shoulders. Low plank jacks hop short and quick, don’t hop out too far making it more work. Burpees go wide on the return, learn the rhythm of this method and they will cruise. Last but not least or least, prep them for the first 1/2 mile on the tread to be more difficult than they think, but at least get the tread moving and walking until they can get closer and closer to goal pace! I’ll be honest — I’ve been a little out of shape lately with how crazy life and school have been. But the second I showed up for DriTri Teams, it all came flooding back: The energy. The chaos. The “what have I gotten myself into” regret… followed immediately by feeling like an absolute BEAST afterward. Grateful for the push. Grateful for this community.
