Hands down the best use of my time + money is to spend them on “mama and me” trips. This weekend I was able to take the 8yo to Singapore. It was a 100% girly trip. She got her ears pierced 🥹, we got her some pretty grown up clothes, we went to a fancy French restaurant for dinner, and we went to watch the most empowering musical ever—Six. The entire experience was filled with giggles and heart to heart conversations and I love the person she is growing up into. It’s a pretty cool feeling giving birth to your own best friends. I hope these trips will continue happening regularly over the years. If the girls ever become too cool for the mama and me trips I’d drown the world with my tears 🤪
