Being able to compete at the same meet as performances like that and coming away with a win at Arcadia feels unreal. I’ve put in a lot of work this offseason to get to this level, and it’s starting to show. Watching that race unfold in person was a reminder of the standard at this meet.

Pole Vault - Nothing like a sport where athletes collectively gather to compete in who can jump the highest over a stick using another stick.
Jokes aside, congrats to the high school vaulters who qualified for the Arcadia Invite, where high school athletes all around the world gather in a single weekend to compete. This year we had 3 high school athletes over 16’8”. Excited to see what the future of pole vault holds.
