MY MORNING VITAMIN ROUTINE…. Every morning, there are a few key vitamins that I take and those are Vitamin D, C & B Complex. I take Vitamin A currently for my skin, cell health & immunity. Is it necessary to take vitamins everyday? Yes & no. We really should be getting what we can from our diets, given we are eating well-balanced nutritious foods. The thing is, most people are not,so in that case, supplementing may be needed. Vitamin D is a vitamin we simply can not get enough from diets alone, so supplementing is necessary. The minimum amount is currently 2500IU but most need more than that, especially if you are 40+, have inflammation/autoimmune or do not live in warm sunny environments. Vitamin D is critical for immunity, hormone balance, bone, skin and brain health to list only a few. B Complex is a mix of all the B vitamins which work best together. They are needed for energy production, metabolizing fats, carbs and proteins, nerve function, growth of red blood cells and so much more. Vitamin C is a very important vitamin. It is crucial for immune health, fights free radicals in the body, cellular health (mitochondrial function), and it also helps your body absorb and store iron. 1000mg is recommended daily (more if you have autoimmune or different health issues .) Not shown here is Curcumin by @terrynaturallycanada that I take everyday to help reduce inflammation and for overall health of the body. Curcumin is a powerful spice that is an antioxidant and studied to help prevent many diseases. I do recommend having blood work taken at least 1x per year to know where you may be deficient and then possibly supplementing from there. Do not just take vitamins or supplements because the internet tells you to.
