DEBoiling Point was filmed as a single continuous take, meaning the entire roughly 90-minute movie was shot without any visible cuts, creating the feeling of being inside a real, uninterrupted restaurant service. Cinematographer Matthew Lewis and director Philip Barantini rehearsed scenes extensively and coordinated the cast and crew so the camera could move fluidly through the space and capture all the action live. Production initially planned to film eight full takes over four days, but because of the COVID-19 lockdown the shoot was shortened to two days, resulting in four complete takes and the third take was chosen as the final version used in the film.
