OLI can't wait to share this new project with yall. This one was a lot of work but so worth it. The calls, the travel, the favors, the love, the good looks, the time equity, and support from all who gave theirs, I/we appreciate yall immensely. Years ago, Chicago's own, the honorable uncle @gdaniels44, labeled @abstractmindstate "Chicago's Hardest Working," and we embraced as well as ran with it. So much so that we became known as Chicago's Hardest Working Rhyme Duo. Well, even in our return to creating, releasing, and performing new art, we still outwork the best of em. We've collaborated with some of the greatest producers in Hip Hop (Google and/or check the credits of our discography on Bandcamp), and that fact continues with our upcoming album produced by @youngrj313 of @officialslumvillage. He went crazy, so we lyrically and conceptually had to match his energy, lol. I know we're at our best right now, and although we've earned every opportunity given to us, we also overwork to maximize them. This project was a doozy but super fun and the most worth it to date. There are literally a couple more "special herbs" to be added that will take our gumbo to New Orleans level flavor, and the dinner will be served 🙏🏾. The toast above is to celebrate completion. 🥂
