🌟 Celebrating Chad’s Journey with Goodwill! 🌟 Meet Chad, a remarkable individual who embodies perseverance and growth. Diagnosed with autism at just 14 months old, Chad started attending preschool at what is now the Goodwill Gulf Coast Child Development Center. His journey continued at Camp ASCCA , where he built lifelong skills and friendships. After graduating from Baker High School, Chad started working at the U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Training Center through Goodwill and AbilityOne. This year, Chad is celebrating his 25th work anniversary with Goodwill. His story is a powerful reminder that with the right support, anything is possible. Here's to many more years of success together. 💙 Where there's a Goodwill, there's a way. #GoodwillGulfCoast #AutismAwareness #USCoastGuard #DevelopmentalDisabilitiesAwarenessMonth

March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month 💙 A reminder that behind every label is a child who just wants to play, laugh, explore and be loved like everyone else. Our children aren’t defined by what they can’t do. They show us every day what they can do — in their own time, in their own way. Here’s to celebrating every milestone, every difference and every incredible child. ✨ #DevelopmentalDisabilitiesAwarenessMonth #SENParent #DifferentNotLess #Neurodiversity #CelebrateDifferences

When we say ALL we mean ALL… Sometimes the world underestimates people… until they speak. In our next UNtenurED Podcast episode, “UNderestimatED,” we sit with the brilliant Camille Joy to honor National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month and Women’s History Month—two reminders that the voices history tried to overlook are often the ones carrying the most wisdom. This conversation is about power, advocacy, motherhood, identity, and the beauty of seeing brilliance where systems once saw limits. Because being underestimated? Sometimes that’s just the prelude to changing the narrative. 🎙️ Full episode drops 3/11 on all podcast platforms. #UNtenurEDPodcast #UNderestimatED #DevelopmentalDisabilitiesAwarenessMonth #WomensHistoryMonth #Advocacy RepresentationMatters

Follow along as Josh, one of our Community Educators, gives us tips and tricks to make sure ALL kids are heard, seen and believed. When talking with IDD Students make sure you are communicating with them and not just the caregiver. Allow them to feel comfortable conversing with you, so when they need to tell a truth, they know you are there. #iddawarenessmonth #developmentaldisabilitiesawarenessmonth #preventioneducation #cacgroc #stopchildabuse
