READY TO LOSE THE FLUFF? Comment ‘ULTIMATE’ if you want me to send you a free training guide of my workouts, fat loss tips and high protein recipes! 💞 While I’ve always been athletic, my body has NOT always been this lean or defined. The difference between these videos is about 4 years and even in those years it’s fluctuated a lot (living on a sailboat will do that to you 😅). But here’s 3 things that really helped me… 👉🏽 Not ‘starting’ over every Monday: Instead of eating out all weekend, drinking casually, and skipping workouts, I started to make better decisions come Friday. Eating more home-cooked meals instead of Uber eats, scheduling my workouts in so I wouldn’t skip them, and keeping alcohol limited to one night a week. 👉🏽 Changing up my training: Instead of super heavy lifting, I started utilizing more bodyweight and dumbbell exercises, swapped to more full body workouts and focussed on form over weight. 👉🏽 Stuck with it!!! Too many people give up when they don’t see results. Instead of focussing on the results, I focussed on the routine and sticking with it - and because of that, the results fell into place. Don’t get discouraged if you don’t see results right away. THIS IS WHAT I’D DO FIRST ⬇️ Not drop to 1200…(most women not all but most don’t need to continue to drop calories very low & there are other levers to pull from first). Not add another cardio or HIIT session. I’d fix the things that actually move the needle forward. 1️⃣ Make sure I’m actually eating 1400 (liquid calories, oils, bites, weekends add up fast) 2️⃣ Increase daily steps before cutting food 3️⃣ Strength train with a real progressive plan, not random workouts & I’d make sure I am truly training to my best intensity 4️⃣ Prioritise sleep & stress (water retention and cravings are real and always worse with less sleep) 5️⃣ Consider a reverse or diet break if I’ve been dieting for more than 5 months (and actually hitting my numbers) Low calories aren’t a flex! A well functioning metabolism is & long periods of time in a deficit, over training & under sleeping will impact metabolic adaptation (aka it will slow down). 🔥Comment LEAN for my busy girls guide to get lean & stay lean without eating less or spending hour in the gym.
