You committed to showing up consistently this time. And then you got sick. Or broke out. Or your kid got sick. Or your back went out. Or the exhaustion hit so hard you could not film a single thing. You called it bad timing. Your body called it right on time. This is what I call an expansion symptom. And it is one of the most common things I see in women who are trying to grow their visibility online. Because your body will always find a socially acceptable reason to keep you from being seen by more people. Illness. Injury. Exhaustion. A skin flare up right before you were supposed to show up on camera. None of it is random. Every time you try to expand beyond the circle of people who already know you, your nervous system runs a very fast calculation. Is this safe. Who will see this. Will I still belong to the people I love if I become someone they do not fully recognize anymore. And if the answer feels uncertain, your body finds a way to make the decision for you. This is not a consistency problem. It is not a content plan problem. It is a loyalty contract your body made a long time ago that staying visible within your current circle is safe and expanding beyond it is a threat. This is the work I do with my clients. And every time you commit to showing up more consistently, your nervous system starts running its own calculation behind the scenes. Is this safe. Who will see this. What happens to the relationships I have now if I become someone bigger than they know me to be. And then it finds a way to break the commitment for you. The illness. The flare up. The exhaustion that hits right before the camera goes on. The kid who gets sick the week of your launch. What looks like broken commitments on the outside looks like a loyalty contract to me. Your body is not letting you down. It is keeping you exactly where it believes you are safe. The question is whether safe is still where you want to stay. It’s this: discipline without self-permission is just punishment with a prettier name. The difference between knowing what to do and actually doing it is coaching. Read that again. You already know you should eat more protein. You already know you should lift weights. You already know you should stop skipping meals. You already know you should drink more water. You already know you should stop stress eating at 10pm. You KNOW all of this. So why hasn’t your body changed? Because knowledge isn’t the problem. You’ve watched the YouTube videos. You’ve saved 400 Instagram posts. You’ve read the articles. You’ve Googled “how to lose belly fat” more times than you can count. You probably know more about nutrition than most people around you. And you’re still stuck. Because knowing and doing are two completely different things. And the gap between them is where most women live for years. I've noticed the BIGGEST change with these.. 1. I don't skip a day posting 2. I don't forget to track my spending weekly 3. No alcohol 4. No attaching my worth to my productivity 5. No skipping supplements 6. No impulse buying 7. No fun spending if it doesn’t fit the budget 8. I don't skip SPF daily - especially hands, neck & dec 9. No ‘fun spending if it doesn’t fit the budget (budget gets priority spend eg things I need) 10. I don't forget to set myself 1 x milestone goal (and a gift to bribe myself to achieve it) 11. I don't skip posting 1-10 trial reels daily (not a superior strategy, but definitely superior for my discipline). 12. I don't rush and allocate more space for thinking time to create better, higher leverage decisions. 13. I don't avoid checking my transactions 14. I don't skip 10-12k steps daily 15. Processed sugar max 2x per week. 16. I don't skip 20-40g protein in each main meal. 17. No dehydration. I add electrolytes (especially on hot days, travel days, workout days). 18. I don't avoid a LOT of caffiene for focus. 19. I don't miss retinol 1 x per week & on my neck & hands. 20. I don't go a month without learning new ai tools 21. I don't spend money without checking opportunity cost 22. I don't skip adding % of profit into a travel fund so I can go back and forth from Dubai to Aus without stressin. 23. Not saying no to expensive things IF the cost per use & quality is reasonably high. 24. Removing at least 1 x expense from March into April. 25. I don't rely on discipline, I use opal to scroll less 26. I don't force content topics if I’m not regulated & inspired. 27. I don't treat content like a side hustle. (Putting in the hours, checking data, solving problems for people, etc). 28. No “it’s only $5 purchases” EG: bottled water, paid parking or coffee out just cause I’m lazy, etc” 29. I don't skip supplements daily. Especially; omegas & magnesium. 30.
