It’s all a blur to me. In this simulation, we’ve sped up time so a year is compressed into about 30 seconds. At this speed, days are just a blur. However, we can see how the changing orientation of the earth’s N-S axis with respect to the Sun’s rays leads to interesting effects at the poles. Around the September equinox, regions of the North pole begin to be covered in darkness all day long. You can see this effect in the circular shadow centered on the north pole. It starts growing at the September equinox, and keeps expanding until the December Solstice. After that it starts shrinking. At the March equinox, the line between day and night lines up perfectly with the poles. After that, the North Pole will experience a never setting sun. The upper panel shows the 3 inner planets, with an 2000x enlarged Earth over the course of its annual orbit around the sun.
