VIA handful of Victorian goodies that recently came my way!
The first cuff has a celluloid base and a vulcanite rose. Because it isn't solely vulcanite it has stayed nice and dark.
The second cuff is fully vulcanite and you can see exposure to natural light has created some slight lightening from black into brown
I don't have a large garnet collection, but I've gotten lucky lately and added two bangles into the mix. I'm hoping to do a little post of all of my garnets soon!
The fourth piece - "forget me not" bow brooch - is also just so adorable! I can never resist adding a sentimental brooch to my collection
The fifth piece is a french jet bracelet that was likely made very late in the Victorian era. I love how the facets bounce light so nicely without being over-the-top.
Finally, the hair necklace is probably my favorite of the bunch! It's my latest hairwork find and I'm obsessed with the heart and all of the gold-filled detailing. The condition is also so beautiful!
