The real game isn’t working harder. It’s removing what owns you.

EMMarking off our SECOND Ambassador's Residence that we have visited this year in 2024!
The Brazilian Ambassador's Residence was designed in 1908 by the famous architect of the National Gallery of Art and Jefferson Memorial known as John Russel Pope.
Said structure was originally named the McCormick House since Katherine and Robert S. McCormick (ambassador of France and Russia) owned it. They owned the building until 1932 which is when Katherine passed away.
In 1935, building ownership was transferred to the Brazilian government after purchase. It has served as the Brazallian's Ambassador Residence ever since.
John Russel Pope designed the building in an Italian Renaissance style which influenced the future development of buildings along Embassy Row.
