Watched a few boats heading out of Jupiter Inlet this morning with some sloppy conditions out there. Most chose the usual route, heading southeast through the channel between the sandbars. It’s typically the smoother and more predictable way out. One of the boats in the video took the northeast line instead. That route can work when the tide is high like it was this morning, but it’s usually a bit rougher and less forgiving depending on the conditions. #JupiterInlet #BoatingLife #InletConditions #FloridaBoating #SaltLife

Big changes are coming to the area around Cato’s Bridge 👀🌊 A major shoreline stabilization and revitalization project is currently underway near the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse—and it’s expected to be completed by October 2026. This $16 million project is designed to protect the shoreline from erosion, which has been eating away at the area by about 7 feet per year, while also improving safety, navigation, and access for visitors.  What’s being added: 🌿 Mangrove and native vegetation restoration 🪨 Wave breaks + retaining walls to prevent erosion 🌊 Artificial reef structures for marine life 🚶‍♀️ New boardwalks, access points, and improved recreation areas The goal is to preserve this iconic spot while making it more resilient and accessible for the future 🤍 Construction is ongoing, so access in some areas may be limited—but once it’s complete, it’s going to completely transform the experience. #JupiterFlorida #CatosBridge #JupiterInlet #finestfloridabeaches #palmbeachcounty
