Without looking for meaning and without making anything. Except marks. My reflections emerged about my process, I notice: I was methodical with the marks for short periods and then shifted to a different space to make a very different marks. Spontaneous. Restless? I experienced satisfaction in filling some of the white areas with the wash from wetting the paper and ink. I experienced annoyance at the brush bending in ways I didn’t expect and annoyance that it did not hold much water and I had to continually dip it in the water.
