🚫 3 Mistakes New Runners Make 🚫 1️⃣ Running every run too fast - you don't have to "empty the tank" every run in order to be productive. The goal of most runs is to finish without having to rest and as a new runner that means going much slower than you think. 2️⃣ Skipping strength work - there are 2 kinds of runners... the ones that do strength work and the ones that will soon (likely injured) find out why they should. 3️⃣ No fueling strategy - your body needs carbohydrates and electrolytes in order to perform at it's peak...especially on runs over 45 minutes. Give it what it needs and you'll be surprised how well it responds. Fix these now = faster, stronger, injury-free 🏃🏿‍♂️💥 👉 Keep these in mind for your next run.
