Definitely wished I could’ve spent more time in each of these places, done more tours, seen more. Just means I get to go again sometime in the future and be in awe over all I’d missed before. I’m truly fortunate to have had the opportunity to experience such rich history and culture.

Yunanistan’ın başkenti Atina’da bulunan ve en kutsal anıt olarak anılan Parthenon Tapınağı, şehrin önemli yapıtları arasında yer alıyor. Eski Yunan mimarisinin bir örneği olan tapınak, M.Ö. 447-432 yılları arasında inşa edilerek tanrıça Athena’ya adanmış. Parthenon Atina Akropolisi’nin tepesinde bulunan tapınağın inşasında 22 bin ton beyaz renkli özel pantelikon mermeri kullanılmış. Tabii bu mermer zamanla, oksitlenme sonucu bal rengine dönüşmüş.

The occupying force does not have the right to sell the goods of the country it occupies.
It was stolen goods, and the British government were handlers of stolen goods. This was not a legitimate purchase. Greece was under occupation NINE years after they were taken.
It is morally wrong, the Parthenon sculptures & friezes that depict the 192 soldiers who died in the battle of Marathon, tell a story & must be together.
The marble they were made from comes from Mount Pantelika 5 miles away from the Acropolis.
