SEThere is one question you just have to ask when taking prom photos...
Are you a couple?😊💕
Why? Because if they are then there are different poses you may want to try for couples!! If they are high school sweethearts you may be able to capture their relationship with certain poses versus a friendship or a set-up date for prom. It's a different dynamic and can give you different pose ideas for a couple!
And to be honest, every time I ask this question it gets a reaction that shows personality which is always great to capture in photos!!
A few of my favorite couple poses include:
📸 walk toward camera holding hands looking at each other
📸 snuggle in close to each other
📸 the dip - have the guy dip the girl back with leg up
📸 kiss forehead - have the guy kiss the girl on her forehead while she smiles at camera
No matter what the relationship status is, you want to make sure you are posing prom goers in a way that they feel comfortable and by asking this question you can get a sense of what the relationship is between the two.
