What does oversupply means? When EV cars oversupply, vendors start throwing prices. The massive discounts then greatly affect the 2nd hand market and prices continue to drop further.

If property market is oversupply, it means we should be getting massive discounts for homes. But why are we still complaining property prices are too high? Technically both statements are true. The only variables are segment and location.

Oversupply in KLCC area would hardly affect Subang Jaya. Office space oversupply will not affect prices of landed homes. But most of us just wouldn’t wanna take this extra step in research for clarity. Unfortunately what’s for sure? Higher cost of construction and land:/
