TH🚧 What’s really holding up @jimsoriginalorange in Orange?
Since October, this small business has been stuck waiting on @sce to move a power pole and complete required electrical work.
Let that sink in… months of delays just to get basic infrastructure handled.
In that time, they were broken into and robbed, taking a major financial hit and now they’re paying out of pocket for private security just to protect what they’ve built.
Meanwhile, we keep talking about being “open for business” in Orange. How can we say that when projects are getting delayed like this?
This isn’t just about one restaurant. This is about a pattern of slow-moving utility work delaying projects, costing small businesses time, money, and momentum.
We need Edison to step up and support the businesses investing in our city. We are desperate for sales tax and this is standing in the way of progress!
