So.. when are we going to Bora Bora? 😏 follow @catchagypsea for more travel inspo & save this post for your next French Polynesia trip 🤍 If paradise exists on Earth, it probably looks like Bora Bora 😍 More shades of blue than I knew existed, mountains rising straight out of the ocean, and moments that feel too beautiful to be real 🌊 Top Bora Bora Hotel Recommendations for 2026: - In Bora Bora you can stay in the lagoon at Westin, Four Seasons, Conrad, St. Regis, Le Bora Bora and the Intercontinental hotels. We personally stayed at Conrad and Four Seasons and can recommend both! Four Seasons definitely has the best view of Mount Otemanu (the iconic peaks of Bora Bora) ⛰️ - You can also choose to stay on the main island and get a day pass to some of the hotels 😉 GETTING AROUND BORA BORA: - Renting out scooters is easy and the best way to get around mainland Bora Bora. You can rent one at Albert Store (which we did) 🛵 BORA BORA HIKE: - There are many hikes in Bora Bora, and we personally tried the Mt. Bora Bora is not all glam and beaches they have tons of cool stuff to do like this Aqua Safari. If you have ever wondered what being an astronaut or a 19th century diver feels like this excursion is for you. They put this dive helmet on you and then fill it with pressurized air as they lower you into the water so you can breath normally. Because the helmet is air filled its kind of floaty so you end up being lighter and able to jump around like its space. I know it looks funny but the views were amazing! Bora Bora’s water is so clear its incredible. If you have never scuba dived this is a great way to see what yours missing! We did this as an excursion on our @windstarcruises 🐟💙
