This is distribution leverage being repriced in public. Whoever controls the Warner library and pipelines ends up shaping downstream decisions, risk appetite, and where budgets flow. These deals rarely stay inside finance. The consequences show up in what gets greenlit, how much creative risk is tolerated, and who gets squeezed across the ecosystem. Three of my insider takeaways: 1. Leverage moved, not just ownership. Control of a major library changes negotiating power across talent, advertisers, and buyers. 2.
