🙏 In the midst of our walk a few days ago, surrounded by so many kind souls, the venerable monks paused to receive a beautiful gift—a sweet little girl offering flowers with the purest heart. Her mother, Emily Carruba, shared that her daughter will be having surgery soon to remove a hemangioma on her eye. In that tender moment, the venerable monks offered the blessings for her healing, for strength, and for peace to surround her and her family. These are the moments that remind us why we walk—not just the miles we cover, but the hearts we touch, the blessings we share, the love that flows between all beings when we pause to truly see one another. To this brave little girl and her loving family: may you feel surrounded by an ocean of compassion and care.
