AI is already reshaping the workforce in real time. One of the biggest challenges ahead is making sure that transformation creates opportunity, not just disruption. Right now, much of the capability is concentrated within a small number of large tech companies. That model won’t scale the kind of national impact we need.
My focus was on expanding AI beyond big tech by investing in national labs, universities, and public-private partnerships. We’ve done this before in the U.S. and it works. It builds talent, drives innovation, and creates a more resilient and competitive ecosystem.
