If you hate doing cable ab crunches, a potential alternative is to do the ab crunch on a lat pull-down machine. Got to keep in mind when you’re doing the ab crunches on a lat pull down, you’ll be getting a more shortened resistance profile. It’s not exactly a direct alternative to doing it the traditional way, which would be more lengthened focused but regardless. Doing it on the lat pulldown could be easier to learn.

One of the best ab exercises I have done to date. ✅ The lat pulldown cable crunch. A traditional cable crunch is good, but most people end up using their hip flexors too much. This movement eliminates the issue completely allowing you to focus on training those 6 pack abs effectively. If your lat pulldown is a single attachment just clip on two rope attachments or a Vulcan strap and it’ll do the exact same thing. 🤩 Try this, keep them nice and controlled, you’re welcome. 🫡
