KEWe’re more of a last minute kinda family (I blame it on the airline pilot life 😉). But we threw this trip to Magic Kingdom together in a few days. Amazoned some birthday ears and Tshirts for the little girls, got the lightning pass, and pulled off the best 9th birthday for Landrie!
You won’t find Disney tips and tricks here but I will say, just go! It doesn’t have to be perfect and not having the pressure to do all the things made it enjoyable for us. It was so much fun and watching the kids experience all the magic was so worth it. ✨

해석을 할 수 있는데, 어떤 직종이든 아마존이
문어발을 뻗으면 해당 직종의 기존 플레이어들의
매출이 반토막 나는 현상을 말한다.
책 판매로 시작했던 아마존은 그럼
어떻게 이렇게 빠르게 사업을 확장하고
캐시 플로우를 만들어낼 수 있었을까?
오늘은 아마존🇺🇸에서 일하며 배운,
최고의 성과를 내는 3가지 방법을 공유하고자 한다.
1️⃣ 신속하게 움직인다 (bias for action)
아마존 정신에서 가장 중요한
’bias for action’ 한국어로는
*할까 말까 하면 해라* 정도가 되겠다.
아마존에서는
⭐️ 단위 시간 당 더 많은 실험을 수행하는 것⭐️
이 가장 중요하다.
아마존에 처음 들어가면 교육을 영상 중
제프 베조스가 업무를 해야 하는데 책상이 없어
문을 뜯어 책상을 만들었다는 영상🚪이 있다.
문을 뜯어 책상을 만든 행위는,
책상을 사러갈까 고민하고, 어떤 책상을 살까
고민하고, 책상을 집으로 가지고 오는 그
모든 시간을 절약할 수 있는 방법이다.
✨ 모든 조건이 같다면,
신속한 팀이 더 많은 혁신을 이룬다. ✨
그렇기에 아마존은, 가장 빠르고
다양한 산업을 amazoned 할 수 있었다.
2️⃣ input 지표에 집중한다.
우리는 흔히 수치적 목표를 세우면
수치에 매몰된 사고를 하는 경향이 있다.
오늘 방문자 수가 어제에 비해 떨어졌다면,
통제 가능한 input 지표를 검토하는 게 아닌
떨어진 숫자만 바라보고 낙담하는 것이다.
그러나 output을 통제할 수 있는 힘은
아무도 없다. 따라서 우리는 우리가
통제할 수 있는 일에 매달려야 하며,
⭐️ 통제할 수 있는 일과
통제할 수 없는 일을 명확히 분리할 줄
알아야 한다. ⭐️
아마존의 경우, 제 1가치는 바로 주가인데,
주가는 제프 베조스도, 그 어떤 능력있는
경영진도 통제할 수 없는 영역이라고
인지한다.
그렇기 때문에 그들은 주가라는
output에 집중하지 않는다.
대신 ✨ 통제할 수 있는 input✨
에 집중한다.
아마존은 모든 팀이 input 지표를 수치화한다.
그리고 매니저와 1on1을 하며 input 지표를
개선하기 위해 최선을 다한다 💬
3️⃣ input 지표와 output 사이의 시스템을 분석한다.
input 지표에 집중하라고 했다고, 모든
input 지표를 다 개선하려고 하면 안된다.
input 지표는 output 을 개선하기 위해
움직여야 한다. 즉 input 지표가 어떻게
output 을 만들어 내는지에 대한
시스템을 알아야 한다🚨
예를 들어, 아마존에서 아마존 프라임의
구독율을 높이고 싶다면, 구독율이라는
output을 이루고 있는 input 지표를
분석해야 한다.
가볍게 적어보면
output(구독률) =
신규 유저 * 구독 전환률 + 기존 유저 * 재구독률
로 표현할 수 있으며, 이때 신규 유저 수,
구독 전환률 등 또한 새로운 input 지표로
분해할 수 있다.
이런 식으로 output을 ⭐️통제 가능한
input 지표로 분리하여 결국 프로덕트를
예상 가능하고 통제가능한 프로세스로
만들어 나가는 것 ⭐️이
