Is the Bro Split ( training each muscle once a week) a good way to make gains in the gym? Such as national chest day on Monday, back on Tuesday and so on. It is one way to make progress with your physique but it is not the best. Why? Protein synthesis which is one of the key measures of added hypertrophy stalls after 70 hours the latest.  Which means even if you do the most beastmode workout on Monday, by Thursday there are no more gains.  Hence it is better to train each muscle twice a week. Another important component of muscle growth is volume.  You can simply put more volume in two sessions than one. What about overtraining?
