BRBestohlen in Afghanistan. Ein Kind stiehlt bewusst mein Handy vom Motorrad und läuft davon. Im Hintergrund steht eine Gruppe Erwachsener, die tatenlos zusieht und sich amüsiert. Nach längerer Suche gelingt es zum Glück, den Dieb durch meine Kameraaufnahmen zu identifizieren. Respektlos und lachend tritt uns die Gruppe Afghanen entgegen. Ich bekam mein Handy zurück – das Kind hatte es etwas weiter entfernt im Sand versteckt. So schnell kann ein Handy verschwinden.
Leider war es nicht das letzte Mal, dass wir in diesem Land bestohlen wurden.

Robbed in Afghanistan. A child deliberately stole my phone from the motorcycle and ran off. In the background, a group of adults stood by, watching and even laughing. After a long search, my camera luckily helped identify the thief. The group approached us, laughing and without any sense of respect. I got my phone back—the child had hidden it a little further away in the sand.
It’s frightening how quickly something like that can happen.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t the last time we were robbed in this country.
