ROHow to Blur Any Object in CapCut (Step by Step Guide)

1. ���Export your clip into CapCut and add it to the timeline.
2. ���Select the clip and use the Split tool to cut the main clip where you want the blur to begin and end.
3. ���Duplicate the split clip you want to blur (select it, then look for the Duplicate option).
4. ���Select the duplicated clip on the timeline.
5. ���Find the Overlay tool and tap it. This will move the duplicated clip onto a new track below the original.
6. ���Align the overlay clip perfectly under the original clip section.
7. ���Select the overlay clip (this is the one you will apply the blur to).
8. ���Go back to the main menu and select Effects (often found at the bottom of the screen).
9. ���Select Video Effects.
10. ����Search for Blur effect. Tap the checkmark to apply it to the timeline.
11. ����Adjust the Blur effect to cover the same duration as your overlay clip.
12. Now, with the overlay clip still selected, look for the Mask tool (it’s often near the end of the toolbar like “Volume,” “Voice Effects,” etc.).
13. Select Circle (or any other shape) from the mask options.
14. Adjust the size and position of the circle mask to cover the specific area you want to blur (e.g., a face, a license plate).
15. Use the feather/arrow handle on the mask to soften the edges of the blur.
